Someone did, we got THREE different answers.

Day before the panel, Dwight Stall told me there was a problem where the MU had run out of UPC numbers, and started to go to a different prefix. The retailers figured they could delete the old ones when they got the new ones, but Hasbro caught that error before stuff went out. Then they had to go through all of the communication related to that issue and basically start from scratch.

Then, during the panel, Adam Biehl said that the "sell-through" wasn't as good as it typically was for MU, and they were surprised that the first wave was still peg warming.

Then, fellow Arker Trainwreck got ANOTHER story: "that they shipped too much Early Series 4 stuff before the Avengers movie and the movie toys and Legends had MU peg warming as many collectors went to those other lines."

So what I gather is that a combination of reasons fucked up MU distribution this year. First wave went out, and sold well, and then while Avengers and RoML started coming out, MU distribution started to have some problems with the UPCs. So wave 1 revisions came out and began filling pegs while collectors 'focused on' ML and Avengers. By the time they were ready for wave 2, it was royally behind.

At least, that's my best amalgam of the answers. The other possibility is that they just plain screwed up the distribution timing, and couldn't get their story straight.

I said it months ago. I feel Like I'm being punished. Punished for pouring my heart, soul, time, and energy into a collection and a product I love.

To be fair, they did apologize. The first thing they all talked about on an individual basis was correcting the distribution problems. Seems like every Hasbro person both felt terrible and guilty about it.

That's what makes me think the Uncanny X-Men team pack was such a safe bet.

There's apparently a lot to be revealed, they just are 'throttling back' on reveals to only let stuff out a couple months in advance. Vonner used to tell us way more than he probably should have way too far in advance.

The eBay thing is shitty. Jesse Falcon actually suggested that I just 'get on eBay and buy it' in regards to a colored Vision! His answers were really ass-holeish. He probably didn't mean it to be, but he's obviously tired of dealing with crazy action figure fans. Dwight Stall was genuinely interested and shared our concerns, even when he was wiped and ready to go home.

Yea, it was a little bit of a let-down, and the people who actually made it to the panel were crazier than most, in my experience.

It felt a bit embarrassing when the crowd wasn't nice enough to humor the Hasbro reps about their side projects, or get too excited about the little news we got.

That being said, Hasbro should have skipped talking about Bonka-Zonks and avoided talking about Ultimate Spider-Man's show. They could have breezed over that kid-stuff and everyone would have let it go.

They've already gone back to, well sort of at least, normal colossus during AvX when he was fighting Red Hulk. Piotr gave up the Juggernaut power when he and Red Hulk almost destroyed Utopia while fighting, but before Piotr became one of the Phoenix 5. I had to look into that too to see why they haven't bothered to cover Cyttorak and the phoenix force combined. They wrote a way out of that it seems to not even touch it.

Someone in the Marvel AvX panel specifically asked why Colossus was all over the place. He's Juggernaut, he's not. He's bald, he's not. He's Phoenix 5, he's not.

They said he'll be dealing with these choices in the near future. Mostly in the AvX story, but some during the fallout afterwards.

I just think they have too many writers/artists working with the character at the same time. No one can keep it all straight in a linear continuity.

I can't wait to see the new female body that they are making for Moonstone, and I hope Ms Marvel will be the variant for Moonstone.

According to Dwight, there's two X-Force teams, the one before Uncanny, and the one after Uncanny. The differences between the grey and the silver details on the costumes are intentional to try to fill out those teams.

He was pretty frustrated that they can't get figures out fast enough to finish a current team.
