Just choose you entered the wrong amount and then don't bid on it again. I've done this at least 20 times over my 11 years on ebay. Never heard a single word about it. If it's ok for the seller to cancel bids, then IMO it's ok for the bidder to cancel their bids. I believe you have to do it before the final 24 or 12 hours of the auction.
