It reminds me of PR stunts like the Weiner mobil and the Red Bull car.

In the more recent Fraction run, he designs a car that runs off of an arc reactor. In a weird way, this car is like a throwback to that but in a hummer-esque motif instead of the roadster style the comic car was.
Stark being a technology developer though, lots of the side ironman things can skate or be interwoven in via imagination and creativity.

Stark himself would probably design an armor deployment system in his own concept car. I'm mildly curious why hasbro hasn't cashed in on that via some kind of quick change coupe like kenner used for the batman line and superman line way back when.

The other mobile vehicles you can also lean towards how often Ironman (comics and toons at least) loses power and needs repairs.

They definitely could all be re-released in shield colors though. Along with the Hulkbuster hummers, and maybe even certain Joe vehicles. Works for me, since my GI Joe collection is my version of Shield. xD
