Yup. He's been cured of the virus. Which makes him the most powerful telepath/telekinetic on the planet now. Marvel has yet to deal with that or if the cure took away his powers too. It probably didn't, but we'll see as the future progresses.

If Academy & Secret get cancelled I'll be down to 4 Marvel ongoings.

Not picking up Uncanny Avengers, too many mutants and I don't like the shared team.
Academy is sticking around for a bit, but I haven't checked the solicits for after October yet.

Gillen on Iron Man is GREAT..but everyone I know is skippng the book because that tracing hack Greg Land is doing art.

Hickman on Avengers is the only realy great news to come of all this- and taht;s only assuming they put Simonson back out to pasture. I looooved his 80's Thor run, but he's lost it. Art on Avengers had been pretty terrible this entire run.

Bendis and JrJr are relaunching Captain America...not sure how I feel about that, really.

And, for laughs, they took Hickman OFF FF and Fantastic Four and put Matt "responsible for the disaster that was Fear Itself and defenders" Fracton writing it....I predeict FF cancelled within the year.
Secret is 'canceled' sort of at least. Academy has got solicits for October, but I haven't checked for November yet. Final Exam isn't the final story arc though. In october during the aftermath of AvX features, they'll be doing an Avengers Academy vs Jean Grey School athletic competition issue. Like the old school Xavier institiute powers sports matches.

The smart thing also would be to keep it and cross promote it with Ultimate Spider-man. Though doing that, they may eventually end up putting spider-man in the title somehow.
I still think that may eventually be the plan though when Ultimate Spidey expands in coming seasons. They'd need a season or two to establish and grow the current cast first, but with white tiger on the team, it always made me think the plan was to grow it towards an avengers academy type format with spider-man as the center piece. That initial White Tiger cross promoting is what's also helping keep AA safe for now. With the change in the format of the Avengers comic though, I'm not sure how long that may last.

I do like the change in the format, but they should have done it in a larger issue styling to allow for more stories per month that way. That's another reason why side titles are still needed for the forseeable future.
