Aside from doing the obvious and work overtime, the next thing to do is loans, and then sell your stuff. When selling your stuff to pay off debt, the goal is: to maximize your profits! So,.. Why not ask the going market/ebay rates?, Why offer others a deal when life isn't offering you one?

This is not the same as somebody buying doubles and trying to scalp for some extra $$, this is someone trying to survive and pay bills. I'd rather throw up the longshot and ask $100, then ask $50 and think later," I should of asked more, I probably could of got it" . Personally most people in that position wouldn't turn away a decent offer, but ask more because they need the maximum payout from their items. They're not hoping it gets them $20, they're hoping to get $200 like some idiot overpaid for on ebay last week.

Plus we're dealing with toys, in most cases selling them is your last option and something you hold off doing, plus personally, I'd rather sell 1-2 really desirable high end figures such as Crossbones and Ares for full price, then nickel and dime it with common figures and sell my whole collection.
Agreed. The way I understood Shockwave's comment though, is that if the sellers needs money fast, he could ask for a lower price. That would get him the funds quicker. On the other hand, asking to low of a price may mean a quick sale, but not as much money. The seller needs to find a balance I guess. Hopefully this makes sense. It's 3am and I need sleep badly!
