This box from ToyWiz on the doorstep when I got home from work certainly made up for the Death of Vision.
I was going to comment about this post until I got to this...

Punisher? Paint is just as bad as previously stated.
Kang? BEAUTIFUL! But mine has like a razor cut near his wrist and there's like a chunk hanging off.
Scarlet Witch? Perfect.
She-Hulk? Perfect.
FF Spider-Man? Had a chunk of melted plastic on his chest. I pulled it off carefully but it took part of the black chest Spider logo off.

Blah.
My Punisher is the same way, and I don't understand why the FF Spidey has a 5 O'clock shadow on his face. They really overdid the shading in a bad way here. Everything else I agree with too. Overall, the wave is a solid wave; it's just the execution on a couple of figs.

For the folks worried about wave 18; I would recommend chillaxin. They are all packed into a revision case that will be out soon enough, too. It royally sucks when waves skip retail though.

I respectfully disagree. I love the new Hulk. I'm not super-attuned to scale, and this hulk is big enough to be bigger than most MU figures, but not so big as to be out of place in the MU. I was not a fan of the wave 2 Hulk's Tim Sale-inspired face. He just isn't a definitive Hulk artist to me. And while the comic pack/LUB Hulk is decent, the lessons they've learned as far as sculpting and articulation since then really make a difference. The new sculpt face is perfect for Hulk, and the articulation lives up to the billing.

The Red Hulk situation is almost the exact opposite in my mind. The first time around, they nailed a definitive artist's representation of a character, and that head sculpt alone makes up for the lack of articulation. Plus, Rulk is cool, but not a main focus in my toyverse, so as long as he's hanging out in the background, he doesn't need super-articulation. New Rulk just looks like a Hulk repaint instead of its own character like the first one.

I realize my position is hypocritical, but I think the new Hulk's sculpt and articulation make up for any scale misgivings, and old Rulk's face sculpt makes up for any lacking articulation.

As far as siggy-gate goes, I hope my sig stays because I love it. Every time I see it, I feel like I've won the cool siggy competition. I can't thank Scythe enough.
