The age of thunder thor that came in the sdcc set is better. The one in the retail release is just doc sampson repainted. I don't like it either.

Used some flesh tone paint. I feel ya, I hated the shading they tried to do. I changed his hands to get more of an open palm look like the art on the card. I've seen ppl use the xmo iceman hands which are perfect but I can't bring myself to disassemble a great figure.



For sh1ts and giggles, this is what I have him doing in my current display. Kudos to dinofreak for the idea. Such a pivotal moment at the time.
