I've done something similar to this on 1.1, 4.4 and 3.5 (not 1.2 though). Each time, I've had different results when I follow the configuration the same after obtaining CP. Granted, the roulette did land on CP at times, but the randomized draw felt supported. I'll try it again on 4.4 when I get a chance though.
