That is crazy, He is not stealing and ethics do not come into it, You cannot call ethics when the companie that makes the toy in question have told people if they want the toy that much to get their wallet out and hit ebay (I believe one of our very own were told to do that during a Q&A at sdcc)

I understand that Scalpers are a pain and that the world would be a better place if we could all buy stuff at retail but sometimes things are not as easy as we would like.
It is unethical when you are denying someone an opportunity to benefit your own gain. Yes it is a toy, but still as an employee taking something without giving anyone a chance to puchase it, should be fired. What if this happened around christmas and the toy was not for you, it was for your child. Lot's of adults want to please their children and if the employee takes all the hottest toys before anyone has a chance to purchase them, just so he can sell them, that is not right.
