Last one for the week. This is one of those occasions where I really wish I had a Marvel Select Phoenix backdrop. Would have been perfect for that last picture. But alas, I do not. But anyway, Fongji. Her name literally means Bird of Fire. Recently debuted in New Avengers as part of a story Iron Fist was telling Hope. I thought it would be cool to see a female Iron Fist with basically the same costume design as Danny Rand, and there she was. So, I had to jump on it. The only slow portion to the project was getting the head I wanted. lol Anyway, she was trained by Lei Kung, accepted possession by the Phoenix Force, left earth, and was never seen again. Jean Grey, Fongji, Hope. The Phoenix really has a thing for redheads.
I used a few different parts to make her, but the cool thing is, she is pretty much a straight repaint of Phoenix. Psylocke could work too, since she also wears the belt, but Phoenix already has the red hair, and you don't have to repaint the eyes either. But, since I didn't have that, I had to mix and match. The Phoenix emblem was trickier than I thought, taking a couple of attempts to get right. But after a second try, and some touchups, it finally came out properly. I almost forgot the black lines on her wristbands and boots too. I happened to look at the picture and notice it in time to fix. lol
