Today it gives us pride to share a new Transformers gallery with you! Next up is the first of two new releases in Voyager Class Wave 4,
Ultra Magnus
!
Ultra Magnus may be familiar to anyone who picked up the Cyberverse toy, as the Voyager Class toy is very much an upscaled version of the Cyberverse Commander, with a few extra steps and panels for the arm and leg transformations. This regrettably brings over some of the bad points of that design along with the good ones, such as the
rear view of the truck mode
having the robot mode legs on full view. But there are some good points too, including some excellent articulation and the best MechTech weapon on a Transformers Prime toy yet - one that not only locks in its deployed mode, but that also features two distinct modes.
All in all, Ultra Magnus is a great toy. He's not without flaws, but he stands up well all things considered. Well worth the purchase in my opinion, provided you are able to pick him up at retail or close to retail prices.
