The only one Im not trying to offload is Beast because we're not likely to get that look again.
And thats why I think MU has dont pretty well. The followed up a scale and character line up that had just utterly failed and turned it into the line to beat.
Trying to say what we would have done better makes me chuckle.
SOME figures in SHS are indefensible - typically female figures in particular. On the other hand ...
Doc Ock
Ghost Rider (I can see either side on this one)
Green Goblin
Thor
Mole Man (no equivalent in MU)
Magneto (body, not head)
Thing
... all are better than their MU counterparts. (Doc Ock would be Spider-Man, but same idea.)
Other figures like Daredevil and Spider-Man have only recently been upgraded to the point where an MU figure is superior. Many people still prefer Colossus in SHS, but I prefer MU. Even the SHS Venom was really great in terms of detailing.
My only issue with SHS is that the legs and arms tend to pop off on SOME of the figures - but not all. I have no idea what is up with their quality control but many hold up amazingly, and Electra will completely disassemble on her own. But, I have the same problem with some of the MU figures.
