When I was a kid in the 80s I had this toy that I really liked. I got it as a Christmas gift between 1984-1986. This leg is all I have left.
What I remember is that it was a red insect looking figure. I believe it was supposed to be a gigantic insect looking robot. Reminds me of a Gundam but I am not sure if its from that line. It came with a mini pilot figure and a sword. Don't remember if it came with any other accessories. The hands were black and most of the figure could be taken apart. The chest had a plastic piece where the pilot would be displayed. There were small black tabs that the legs and arms plugged into to hold the figure together. I think the toy was Japanese because I vaguely remember the box had Asian writing on it plus my friend got it from an Asian store that was open at the time. It had transparent wings that could be displayed or hidden in its back. It resembled fly's wings. I think the toy was 5-7 inches tall. I believe the whole figure was made of plastic but the feet were made of diecast metal.
I have been trying to find more information about this figure for several years with no luck. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
