Just tuned in to X-Play and Attack of the Show! and all the hosts are talking like they just got fired so I looked into it.

On October 26, 2012 it was announced that X-Play and Attack of the Show! would cease by the end of 2012.[34] This would end all of G4's studio programming, leaving it only airing acquired and syndicated programming. Reports of G4TV rebranding itself in 2013 into an upscale men's channel appeared previous to the recent programming changes.

Well I think that sucks. Reading a little more you find out why:

On January 5, 2012, Neal Tiles stepped down as CEO.He was replaced by former NBC marketing chief Adam Stotsky.
Long time employees Adam Sessler and Kevin Pereira left the network during the first half of 2012.

Looks like they saw it coming. I'm just so surprised the shows are ending. X-Play started in 1998. They will be missed. I home some other channel picks the shows up.
