I know you wouldnt get an inch of retail space on the shelves but in the modern age of cutting out the distributor and just marketing online direct to customer I cant fathom why the fans of the game wouldnt get behind a mature themed toy line. I can hear the doubters already and yes I realize getting the rights to the Mortal Kombat license is expensive as is having them b super articulated (it is based on a fighting game) as well as regular and "battle damaged" versions and thats not even cost pricing the magnets or more detailed accessories that should be included in a figure line such as this.
But I'm getting away from my main point. Will we ever see an action figure line that reflects adult themed brutality. Would a toy company be able to profit or would it even be worth their time? Honestly if you dont want to go more hardcore with "Mortal Kombat" of all propeties, then dont bother making toys at all.
Not necessarily. All Jazzwares has to do is release higher quality figures. Have you even read reviews on some of their releases?
