I saw the T2 set at toys r us next to the knex. They had it on sale too. It was marked down from 49.99 to 29.99 which wasn't bad for a 1000 piece set. Been considering it just for the piece count, though some of them look like they could bolster the Halo Megabloks armory.
The stargate ones look interesting.
I'd consider the Daedalus but would have to make it bigger and tweak it to have an interior that fits Mega bloks Halo Spartans. That'd be a perfect companion ship to the Forward Unto Dawn/Custom Mother of Invention.
The stargates themselves are tempting as all heck too. The rest of it is meh to me in those sets(don't really have much need for desert themed buildings but I'm sure the mario brick collectors can find a use, as could the Warcraft and Halo bloks fans), but if they did a pack with just two stargates each, I'd be down for that in a heartbeat. I'd also love a chance to get Atlantis and Destiny.
As for best lock quality. I can vouch for them other than a few stress marks and scratches sometimes, they lock well, and can hold together fine. Same to how the pieces intermingle with other brands. My Ironman armory was made using roughly 2000 best lock bricks, and 1000+ lego. Same to the Red Vs Blue Freelancer Outpost that's slowly growing now too. The prices are usually decent like the T2 set at Ross and Toys R Us. That's why I turned to them. At that time I could get 350pc boxs for 10 bucks. Which came out to 30usd for 1050+ while lego was 59.99 for exactly 1000. Been looking for similar deals since. Two unfinished buildings.
