Last season I ran a bruiser agent in protector role. I wasn't too worried about blasters because I ran a mix of tacticians (Emma/Strange/Widow/Mockingbird etc). Any of those could take out a blaster in 2 hits, and Widow/Mockingbird can do it in 1 sometimes.

I saw a lot of scrapper agents or Ghost Riders, so the bruiser agent was pretty useful over the generalist outfit. Pretty much no one dared run blasters except for Strange, and like I said, he went down faster than a cheap hooker.
