I need a 6 inch to go with my movie Mark III. I don't need a million variants of Tony Stark.

iPads have also not replaced toys. They're competition for handheld gaming consoles, not action figures.

This is no different than the "deluxe" 3.75" Iron Man 2 figures, which had the same limited articulation.
We have figures like this in every line. It's silly to judge the entire line off of these. (Although I'm not incredibly hopeful.)

I don't really get what happened with Hasbro. When they started their 3.75" initiative in 2009 with MU, X-Men Origins, and Wolverine and the X-Men, everything was either good or great. Even the WatXM figures were fun to collect because despite the low articulation, the actual designs were nice and they looked cool on a shelf.
Even the Iron Man Armored Adventures toys looked cool, despite the bad articulation. I get that the movie lines are more geared towards kids than the MU line but they did such a fantastic job with the Iron Man 2 figures, it was weird to see them get lazy with The Avengers, which was the biggest comic movie of all time.
Ignoring the articulation, where was the variety? At least give us a good comic line like XMO and IM2.
They're also not showing anything. I mean the figures come out in what, a month, and we've only seen these assembler figures? And at the last minute?
I love what Hasbro's done the past few years but there's SO much more opportunity here.
All right, that's it. I'm dammit curious. Is there NOTHING that Hasbro will s*** out that
you're
not looking forward to?
