Yeah, it's the 10th-13th.
Keep in mind it's more for generating retailer interest and keeping continued retail support.
So what they show will be new heavy, with bits of continuing to keep them hitting shelves. MU though needs to show a lot either at this toy fair or thank retailers for the constant support to help establish "it's not going anywhere, we just don't need to show as much anymore." This event is also for the Press, so alleviating concerns through the press would be smart.
But then SDCC better show truckloads(helps plan around christmas for consumers too!).
NYCC I'm indifferent on, but one major showing a year(with a minor one for press and retailers only) with the same exclusives at all cons per year should cut down costs and still keep fans in the loop enough.
I'm kind of hoping this is why the IM3 toys look as they do though.
There's a possibility that the IM3 toys having a slightly altered budgetary usage on direction and types of figures(borderline more decorative), and even Ultimate Spider-man having vehicles that can be various MU or comic series supportive, I'm starting to wonder if MU is about to get heavily bolstered with the things we would have seen for the movies or toons that aren't getting their own lines and all that stuff has been engineered with that in mind for universal combination even across some scale issues.
Stuff like Rescue, Red She-Hulk, and more seem right in that wheelhouse of just card them in MU and let the movies be the movies. Keep in mind movie licensing cost is higher due to more people involved(studios, actors, etc) and that they do have a crapload of films coming up and sequels that need a way to make you buy the same film characters over and over again. So the MU showing can go either direction but it should be talked about at least.
The same is true for transformers. The beast hunter voyagers though hitting shelves are fairly new to retailers so they need retailer buzz.
Hopefully they'll show more on generations too.
Marvel Legends should have a bit of a showing, but it's highly collector oriented and may have retailer support so it could be pushed to SDCC.
Those construct-o-bots are really growing on me too. I kind of want to get some to go with Megabloks Halo Spartan minifigs and Kreons.
