Hey Strongchad, I like your qualifications when trying to think about your predictions. I was trying to think along similar lines too. I didn't think of the new Scarlet Spider though but he's a dead ringer for an easy to do re-paint and bam! new fig.
To everyone else, Hi guys Yeah to some extent all of this is pretty fanciful thinking but I've seen some pretty I think reasonable guesses and I feel like I do see general trends in which characters they choose that makes it possible that together we'll have guessed at least some of what might come up next. I'm sure some of you all have noticed trends too, like doing re-paints with new head sclupt, packing one large frame figure a wave, issueing two-pack characters on single card etc. Anyone notice any particular trends that interest them? And I do feel a lot of characters people/consumers bring up do then get made. Not to say Hasbros reading forums or polling fans or putting out the products that they have shown but not released but even if then just by coincidence, characters i've seen on multiple peoples wishlists over the last couple years are getting made. So i think its good to talk about wishlist characters too. But again maybe those were just the no brainer characters to make next *shrug*
