I would think sites get traffic from people following the image back to the source. Meh.
It's not about "saving bandwidth". When it the image is hotlinked, there is no reason for viewers to go back to the source. In fact, there is no hyperlink to follow back (as you're linking directly to the image file, not to the site's URL). So, no, traffic does not go back to the website that is hosting the image.
If the images are mirrored, at least that provides a link (and credit) to the site that originally hosted them. And then it's up to the user whether to check out the other site or not.

I can't speak for other sites, but all of our sister sites have the same rules in place, including TFW and Tokunation.

Back on topic, Identity Crisis did not suck. It was well written, well plotted, had a mystery going on within it, etc.
You have your opinion and I have mine. Remember, I said *I* thought it sucked. And I still do. But since this is not a comics thread, I won't go into any further explanation.

By that same logic, shouldn't everyone already know that Ray Palmer's mentally-unstable ex killed Sue in a sick and twisted attempt to force Ray back into her life? Maybe if there was a classic Hal Jordan figure with a bio that only mentions how he went nuts once and murdered several Corps members will get my point across better.
I guess my problem is that they are very specific events that revolve around a much larger story and while it does inform you of the characters' history somewhat, you don't get any real sense of the characters themselves. I think the bios should be geared more towards casual fans, or people who don't already know the character.
