As for my own toys picks as a kid, I only remember ever picking out 2 things. One Christmas, I picked out a huge Buzz Lightyear, then the next day, I exchanged it for a T-rex from Jurassic Park 2. All the rest of my toys as a kid just "appeared" in my possession. It wasn't until I started making my own money that I really started to pick out my own toys.
Really? That's sad. I picked out all my toys as a kid. I knew which ones I had, which I didn't, and also knew which characters I wanted more than others.
