Because that would steal Mattypalooza's thunder. Basides, it's not like you have to subscribe before SDCC. You can still wait until after the Con before pulling the trigger. What's Matty going to do, tell you "No, we don't want your money anymore"?

I totally agree that a teaser would've been great, but from a business standpoint I can see why they wouldn't want to do that.
