Most of my time was spent talking about the positive effects that G.I. Joe Retaliation has had on the brand. With the movie being delayed it really threw a monkey wrench in the works. Good news is G.I. Joe Retaliation was a huge hit from the stand point of both Hasbro and Paramount; that is going to lead us to the already confirmed third G.I. Joe Movie.

G.I. Joe Retaliation waves 3.5 and 4 will be shipping to retail shortly to support the launch of the G.I. Joe Retaliation movie on Blue Ray and DVD and continue to ship for the holiday season to support both.

G.I. Joe Kre-O will also continue into 2014 with many new G.I. Joe sets on the way. Look for those to also be shown at Toy Fair 2014 or NYCC 2013 in October.

The best news to come out of the meeting was the future plans for the G.I. Joe Brand. Starting at next years Toy Fair 2014 we will get our first look at what Hasbro has planned for the future. There will be a small gap between G.I. Joe Retaliation and the next interpretation of the brand, but the ride is far from over. Next year is the 50th Anniversary of the brand and there were no specific details given, but there will be G.I. Joe in 2014.
