I was wondering the same exact thing when I opened up my own. I thought it was production error originally, now I'm starting to think that it was intended. In the end, I'll more than likely just add some paint and fix it on my own, although I'm holding off on it because I'm kinda hoping that Hasbro will offer a replacement head free of charge at some point if it is indeed a manufacturing error. It's a shame...because the head sculpt featured on the box packaging is WAY better than this one, and for me, it honestly nearly kills this otherwise neat toy. (I love the fact it actually transforms!)

Also...what is it with Hasbro getting the color wrong on Starscream's eyes with every toy other than the regular RID lines? I remember the Kreo version of him also having blue eyes, when they should be either red or yellow (depending on what you're reading or watching...)
