For part three of our Botcon 2013 Toy Galleries update, we wish to draw your attention to our galleries of this year's troop builder set, the Rainmakers. This trio who were the first Decepticons to appear in the first ever Transformers cartoon episode More the Meets the Eye Part 1 are all redecos of the Transformers Classics Starscream jet mold.
Sunstorm
,
Bitstream
and
Hotlink
represent the most ambitious troop builder from Fun Publications so far for the Transformers brand as each one has their own unique deco, rather than the same deco just with different heads like the Junkion set from 2012. It is the first time this trio has (officially) been represented in the Classics line, and they serve to build up your Seeker Armada with more troops for Starscream to command.
Tonight we have also got a couple of bonus galleries to share with you. The first is a preliminary look at the Botcon 2013 customizing class figure,
Blast Charge
- unpainted versions of the mold were made available at Botcon 2013, so here for your enjoyment we have a mini-gallery showcasing a "naked" unpainted Blast Charge - check back soon for a look at a painted version! We are following that up with a look at the
Renderform Mega Commander garage kit
, which was designed to give Botcon 2013 Megaplex a head which more closely resembles how the original Machine Wars Megaplex looked, as well as some nice new guns - these weapons can split up into a separate rifle and arm cannon, or combine into a single hyper-bazooka. It is a cool set which adds a lot to the convention exclusive Megaplex.
Open the links below to check out our galleries of all these cool items!
