Shame. Personally from what Expanded Universe stuff I've read/played (which is admittedly very little compared to others) the movies are, in my opinion, the inferior stories. Classics for sure, and a great springboard for the SW universe, but inferior.

Characters like Revan, Malak, Bastila, Zayne Carrick, and the entirety of the Republic Commando Delta Squad as well as Starkiller excite me far more than Luke, Leia, Han or even Boba Fett ever will.
