Star Wars can fetch that kind of money with the Black line; MAYBE Marvel can just because they are hot(-ter than DC) right now and they have BAF's included. DC can't/won't.
Besides, we have a new line to compare to -- 1966 Batman. I think Walmart is retailing them for $16.97?
That is what they are already selling for up here and that is why they don't sell much. Batman line is $24.99 (same as the LCS charges!) and the Man of Steel one is, I think, $22.99. I've only bought one figure from those and it was when there was a 30% off sale at TRU. I wanted the Frank Miller Batman but they had like 5 so I was going to wait for a sale but forgot about when the sale actually happened lol. That figure is the only one that has sold out up here. Still pretty easy to find all the rest of DC and Batman figures because of the price.
