[Trivial Psychic]

I saw this the other night at TRU, and my jaw dropped. Has the cost of inflation in the US really raised a toy that was once about 20 dollars to 60? Talk about raping your childhood. Yeesh.

The price is a bit steep, but I have an original van sitting in my closet that's about half complete, (I'm missing the bombs and guns, and the spring action door doesn't work all that well.) but I continue to use that one to display my current gen turtles. Why? Seats. The original wagon has molded seats (not to mention is a lot more cozy,) while the Shellraiser does not. Even at the steep price, I'll probably pick this up, and I'm glad that Playmates is giving us an opportunity to to replace our older vans, without us having to resort to scouring flea markets and ebay for a the perfect piece.
