That's like saying Shia Labouf is responcible for Revenge of the Fallen being one of the worst movies ever made, when all he did was just act in a role. Or Hugh Jackman is at fault for Wolverine Origins being so terrible.
I'm disappointed they didn't go with Joseph Gordon Levitt (But of course, I'm also still disappointed they didn't name Levitt's character Terry McGuiness), but I won't hold that against Afleck. Another way to look at it is maybe this means they're going to keep the two franchises separate. Superman doesn't really fit very will in the Nolen Batman set up, and this could be their effort to make Batman usable for a Justice League movie.
And this conversation is the first I've *ever* seen anyone suggest that writing and directing a movie is
a step down.
That's just friggin' rediculous AND hilarious.
I never intended to make it seem as a Step down I simply said the three are very different. In general Movie Writers do not simply make a book they pretty much give the Director how the scene should look with details, the Director tells the actor how the scene should start and end sometimes they even push the actor to the destination, The Actor Does the scene. I have watched several "Ben Afflac Movies" He has dropped the ball in several (Armageddon, Pearl Harbor, and Daredevil) in my opinion I do not think he will be able to pull the Batman side but the Bruce Wayne side he'll do fine. I do think Zack Snyder will be able to make Ben do a movie that's not something he's involved with in another way good.
