I know there are a couple characters that have abilities that deny Resurrection, or the Hand of Despair, but Hand of Despair has a cooldown and takes up a slot that could be used for less specialized stuff, and the characters with "anti-resurrection" powers usually don't hit all that hard with those powers.

I've had some luck with Iron Patriot War Machine, but again...he's gotta go first, and "protect" effects are a pain in the butt for him to deal with.

Agree with you there...I may have to switch my Archangel to a Scrapper but then I'll lose his bonus blaster for the hero part which would suck. It's too bad the hero suits don't stick for the pvp bonuses as well.
