Been a while since I've posted...but I wanted to say thank you to all the guys who commented on my girlfriend's recent "Walking Dead" good deed...I showed her the post that I made here and you guys certainly made her day with all the lovely compliments, and you are all right...I'm pretty lucky! Now with the toy finds....
Saw these two guys at a local Walgreens while looking for figs...While I'm not a fan of the Halo games (I'm more of a Battlefield player,) I've always appreciated the fine details of the Mcfarlane series, and I thought these Spartans looked pretty neat, so I picked them up. Not regretting the purchase one bit!
Picked up this little guy off of ebay to battle alongside my Cobra Ninja Kreos!
I found these much to my surprise at a local Gamestop...ended up grabbing the whole bunch to compliment the set of Walking Dead figs that my GF got me started on...on a side note, I
REALLY
hate the stickers used by Gamestop. They never remove easily, and always leave a nasty residue behind. Took me forever to remove it properly with Goo Gone without damaging the packaging.
A long and agonizing search ended this weekend when I finally found Shredder 2.0!
There was a comic convention here in Tucson this past weekend also, where I was able to pick up a few goodies as well as vendors were scrambling to pack up and unload some things at the end of the night! Some great horror toys, as well as some oldies that I missed out the first time round!
and lastly, while they're not toys, some very kind and amazing artists fell in love with my girlfriend and I's cosplay at the show, and they were kind enough to donate some of their amazing works to us. Those little pieces of art were by far my favorite pick ups of the show. A special thanks to Ben and Julie Glendenning of Skulljammer comics for the works! If you're a horror fan with a sense of humor, be sure to look them up on the web!
