My cousin and I are huge Street Fighter fans, and so when Jazwares crapped all over the game with it's 3.75" line, I decided to try my hand at making the original 8 World Warriors in MU scale. I'm also still learning how to sculpt, so I thought it'd be a good exercise for that as well (man, it's hard to do... lol).
First up are Ryu and Guile. Ryu was relatively easy compared to Guile since I had a Namor base to use (mid-section was taken from a white 3-pack MU Hand Ninja). Guile is my main in the game, so he absolutely had to get done, but using a darker Steve Rogers body was a pain when it came time to paint his flesh tone in. He ended up having various paint issues that I plan on dealing with later (the green dry-brush just isn't adhering great, so I plan on redoing his lower half and clear coating it). The heads were taken from the original Jazware figures. The Ryu head needed a repaint, but Guile looked pretty good out of the box, so I just had to match his flesh tone to what I used for his upper body.
Pretty happy with them, and slowly working on how to approach the other 6. In the meantime, f*ck you Jazwares for crapping on one of my all time favorite games. =P
