It's a great idea, honestly. There are still a lot of characters that need to be boosted, too. It's less fun when so many of them are clearly inferior to later-release folks. I'd like to have to struggle a little to decide which characters to use instead of having a handful of "go to characters."

Of course, the character-specific empowered ISO-8s go a long way towards redeeming a lot of characters (particularly in their default outfits) but you've gotta farm 'em.
