I think part of it is that they didn't want to stock them. There was major stock of the Terrax and Arnim BAF series when they first came out, and then when it was time for the Epic and Hit Monkey series to come out, the stores were still sitting on the last 2 remnants of them, so they probably didn't want to order more of the last 2. I barely saw the last 2 at retail, and saw lot of the first 2 waves peg warming during the reboot of the Legend series, just my thoughts though.

The majority of toys now a days are still being marketed towards kids, when collectors are actually the ones who should be targeted. Kids now a days sadly seem more interested in getting tablets and video games these days than they are a Batman action figure or Monsters High doll. It amazes me even more that retailers in general don't realize this as well. But, I guess we should be grateful that Target and Walmart still continue to carry toys at all. =/
Haha yeah those sure are a lot of kiddy toys that are peg warming, and yes they're more about video games and tablets now a days, my friend says what happened to the creativity we had back then when we were growing up? They need to clearance out the BHP Target exclusives and the Generation Voyagers as well. I think every TF collector probably has them already, even the Blaster one that was short packed back then.
