Back in Summer of 2013, we posted some images of a toy that definitely grabbed our attention, Acid Rain ST-1 Stronghold Marine 303rd Quad Eyes Version by Oritoys. The Acid Rain toys by Oritoy seemed to have much potential and the soldier figures were eagerly awaited. Transforming mecha, armor, AND GI JOE-sized figures? This is something many of us dreamed of when we were kids.

We received word from our friends at Oritoy that Hisstank.com sponsor Big Bad Toy Store would begin offering pre-orders on Acid Rain product as of February 2014. Well, it appears as though other retailers overseas are beginning to offer pre-orders as well, which is promising for those who want the full line of product on the horizon! Our own Shin Densetsu has come across a pre-order for the upcoming Oritoy Acid Rain Speeder MK.II (Sand 88th). This is the Dune Buggy style mecha that holds one figure. The pre-order is currently set at 14,800 yen, or about $150.

We will definitely update you once the pre-orders are live at BBTS and/or other site sponsors. Are you excited to finally add Acid Rain toys to your collection? Join us after the jump for discussion already in progress!... [Read More]
