For our next Transformers toy gallery update, we bring you a look at the Legends Class
Generations Cosmos with Payload
! This duo of Autobots are deep-space explorers - and updates of an original Generation 1 Minibot and Micromaster, respectively.
Cosmos is a fantastic little figure. His alternate UFO mode is sleek and solid, recalling the original Generation 1 design with a few modern additions. The robot mode is excellent and has lots of poseability - including a neck swivel, and even a form of waist articulation.
Payload is a nice little bonus figure. Like most of the Targetmaster-styled partners with the Generations Legends, he can only move his arms, and his transformation to shuttle mode is "lay robot down and position wings". That being said, he has a great look, and his gun mode is a nice double-barreled cannon. Plus, if you have Revenge of the Fallen Stratosphere, Payload goes well with him to give him the shuttle gun left out of the original release.
Overall this is one of the best Generations Legends two-packs to date. Payload is a fun little extra, but the main event is Cosmos, who pulls off a level of articulation and design that many larger toys might be envious of. Well recommended!
