That's one of the many reasons I cannot stand him or his show. I've seen him blow right by some really rare and valuable items that I know for a fact could turn a profit, but he obviously has no clue about them and therefore "they're not worth anything".

I've also seen episodes where he either flat-out lied or made huge errors about the history/rarity/value of certain items. I swear it was done just for the sake of the show to build drama.
