I like rocker ankles in theory, unfortunately, Hasbro slaps them onto their figures careless. Most of their figures with rocker ankles look feeble when standing upright - either their feet point straight forward, or their toes point inward, causing pigeon toes, which doesn't look very heroic at all. If they would sculpt the shins to accept the rocker hinge at a slightly outward angle, that would fix the whole issue. With the traditional ankles, you can just turn the feet out by a small degree and give the figure a heroic stance.
Another, less important issue I have with rocker ankles is that they're harder to render compatible when swapping feet out. The traditional feet can simply be pulled off and plugged into effectively any other leg with the same kind of hole. But rocker ankles have a concavity that is proprietarily sculpted for the specific leg they're meant to connect to.
