Hasbro
Transformers
license holder
Vilsco Textiles
is providing a treasure trove in content from the upcoming
Michael Bay
movie;
Transformers: Age Of Extinction
.
Thanks to the site
, fans are treated with
Concept Art
featuring not only
Optimus Prime
and
Bumblebee
but also
Hound
,
Drift
,
Lockdown
and
Grimlock
.
The content also sheds light on some key factors such as Hasbro's upcoming plans for the franchise as well as how the Transformers 4 Toy Isles will look like.
Regarding the concept art, it is clear that the characters had not undergone major changes considering their final looks we see these days. The concept artwork we see today was previously seen during the principal photography of TF4 as
Clapperboard Images
and
Robot Poles
. Also among the concept art is the elusive
Silver Knight Optimus Prime
. There seems to be a moment where Optimus activates or bonds with Grimlock (kind of like what happened in Eragon/How To Train Your Dragon) in the movie. And the Hound concept art is similar to the Transformers: Prime Bulkhead concept art we saw back in 2010. Speaking of years... the concept art dates back to 2012, indicating that they have started working on the 4th movie as soon as the 3rd was over.
Moving onto Hasbro's plans. In
2017
we will see
Transformers 5
. The placeholder logo for the 5th Movie is included with the plans. Video Game news
we've heard before
and there will be 2 new
Animated Features
planned for the
first quarter of 2015
and for the
first quarter of 2016
. The cartoons feature
new faction logos
and that's something worth investigating into. The cartoon will run for 2 years, bridging the gap between Age Of Extinction and Transformers 5 just like what Transformers: Prime did.
Other than these contents, you’ll also find some upcoming merchandise such as Earphones, USB Chargers, Keyrings etc. as well.
Checkout the cool images we've mirrored, after the jump.
