I agree with Frank. I got so many cool toys at sam goody and musicland and suncoast back in the day and all I had to do was go to one store. Back when palisades was strong, NECA was first starting out and McFarlane was the main player I could walk in and find just about everything and if I couldn't find it the manager would take down my name and hold it when it was in stock. No memberships, no clubs or mark ups, just retail.
I liked that.
The only thing close to it now is Hastings but you have to find one first. Hastings online is okay but they have the scalper mentality going there... they had Daryl Dixon figures when everyone was trying to find that first one... they wanted $30 and up for that one figure when all of their other walking dead figures were listed at retail $13 or under. So online not so much but in store it is cool to see high dollar items like hot toys in person before you buy them.
