It's reassuring to see that there are plenty of other Transformers collectors here who are fans of the Construct-Bots. I initially had no interest in them, as I was not really impressed by the couple of Kre-O sets I bought. However, the more I saw them in stores, the more I liked the designs, as they looked more Cybertronian than terrestrial.
Also, just the other day, a friend and I were discussing how great it would be if Hasbro were to manufacture more Transformers comparable to Gundam figures, in that the buyer had to assemble it themselves. The Takara FJ Cruiser Optimus Prime I bought recently had a snap-on exoskeleton, and I really enjoyed the process of assembling him.

I think that these Construct-Bots just might be what I'm looking for!
And, at the clearance prices that they're selling for now, I think I'll pick up a couple.
