Yes it is that far off. Mattel, just like other multi-brand companies and conglomerates, has separate divisions covering each of their brands. Those divisions are comprised of their own staffing and budgets. It is possible to reduce the budget for one division while increasing the budget of a different one, but companies don't do something like that just so a certain brand manager can stroke his ego.

In short: no one "lost" the chance to get Doomsday Unleashed because MOTUC decided to make Baby Skeletor.

Facetiousness aside, the second half of my post was more for the benefit of those who thought you were being serious. Hell, in your follow-up comment to Kernel, you said you wished you were joking. That, to me at least, tells me your original comment wasn't entirely meant as sarcasm.
