This past "Black Friday" marked the 25th Anniversary of one of the first widespread Christmas Toy stampedes, the introduction of the Cabbage Patch Kids. In November 1983, parents all over the country waited on endless lines and started riots just to get a Cabbage Patch Kid for their child. My mom happened to be one of them. Now, in honor of their 25th Anniversary, Play Along Toys is re-releasing all of the original dolls complete with the same faces, hairstyles and outfits.
