The first two releases in the line have been revealed as Rattrap and Optimus Primal, from Beast Wars - and you might notice that for this line Takara-Tomy has reverted to the original Japanese names, so these two are being called Rattle and Convoy, respectively. Rattrap / Rattle is the new Generations Deluxe class toy, while Convoy is the original Beast Wars Ultra class toy, using the remolding from the 10th anniversary Golden Disk reissue set.

Given the billing of the series - that it is a celebration of characters from throughout the 30 years of Transformers - it seems likely that this line will also see some characters from other lines as well. We'd guess that the likes of the Generations Leader Jetfire and Deluxe Tankor will ultimately find a home in this line too. As always, watch this space for more news.

Rattle and Convoy, the first releases in the line, are due to arrive in October 2014.
