If I happen to see AV the next time I'm in Walgreens, I might actually try to pick one up.
If I picked up all that stuff there, I'd probably throw in a 6-pack to wash it all down, too.
6" Marvel figures haven't been $8 each for almost a decade, now. IIRC, the first price jump to $10 was in the mid-2000's, then to $15 a couple years after that. So that ship sailed a

time ago, my friend.
I'm no millionaire either, but I do have a fairly strict budget for my hobby. I stopped actively collecting ML's back when Toy Biz was still making them because I decided I couldn't afford them and the other lines I wanted to collect at the time. I also didn't like how much room they took up or the fact that the BAF waves were forcing me to buy figures I didn't really want just to complete the sets (blame it on my OCD, baby).
It's all about priorities.
I just happen to be so rich that I can buy all the crap Hasbro and Mattel throw out at us. I just love spending upwards of 20+ bucks for sloppy paint and warped limbs. I roll hard that way!
