Is it the fault of the fans that the final product differed greatly than what was described on the pre-order page, leading to all of those cancellations?

I think it's a great looking playset, but what was delivered is greatly down-sized from what was shown on the pre-order page. Yes, it was "subject to changes", but changes that were made were too significant to ignore. They should have known their finicky fan-base well enough by then to know that those changes weren't going to fly.

Can you imagine the cancellations if Sideshow solicited a Premium Format figure that ended up being grossly out of scale with their other PFs and was significantly smaller than what people pre-ordered?
