This is why I like Transformers. Even though the box says "Megatron" or "Optimus Prime" the figure inside is completely different than any other version. I'm not wasting my money on the same figure over & over again like Batman, Alien, Predator, Spider-Man, or Ninja Turtles.
This one is way bigger, much more detailed, has much more pose, and is puppet accurate. In short: this blows the old Mcfarlane queen out of the water and builds settlements where the Mcfarlane queen used to be. In fact I'd say every NECA take on a character/license comes off better (if only slightly sometimes, depending on when it was released). Though if you're happy with the Mcfarlane Queen, nobody is forcing you to buy this. I think you've narrowed your ability to enjoy toys because you assume that a new Alien from NECA is just a repack of an older figure from Mcfarlane.
