Ugh....that's brutal. With as much as these guys go for (I paid almost $40.00 for Rattlor), I highly doubt that I'll be following suit with that. While I understand why Mattel did the packaging in paying homage to the original packaging, I really wish that they would have done these guys with a reusable clam shell. I know I'm late to the party with MOTUC in saying this, but the whole presentation is really spectacular! It's gonna be hard stopping with just the Snake Men!
Yeah, pretty brutal, but not as bad as you might think. I made that decision 5 years back when the line started, so I have hardly ever payed more than regular price for one of the figures. It really only hurt in the butt last year when I got 2 Castle Greyskull, but no way was I going to not open that playset. For the last 3 years I have just signed up for 2 Subscriptions and sold off the doubles I did not want.
