Last week, TFW2005.COM invited our users to a "Sound-Off!" ... we wanted to know what your thoughts were in regards to the absence of Transformers Movie alumni Megan Fox and the recent news of her being cut from the third Transformers Movie, popularly referred to as
Transformers 3
.
An overwhelming majority of you, 42.40% in fact, voted
"It will have no effect"
whether or not she's in the movie. 27.41% of you said that Megan Fox not being in the movie will actually
"Help"
it. And the underwhelming minority of you either said that her being gone will
"Hurt"
the movie (19.17%) and the other portion weren't sure (11.02%).
Overall, we collected
over 1,000 votes
from our registered users. That's an awesome turn-out and we thank all of you for taking the time to submit your comments regarding the issue! Here are a few of our favorites:
In regards to storyline issues with Megan's depature,
Mattamus Prime
said,
"Isn't there enough plotholes already? What's one more?"
Xaxis
stated,
"Personally, Megan Fox's involvement doesn't make or break a TF movie for me. I'm interested in the Transformers and don't watch the movies to see her. The character development in these movies hasn't gone deep enough to have built Mikaela's role into anything that will be missed."
And finally,
xHikariAngelx
gave some insight for those who voted "Hurt" by saying,
"True, Fox has been criticized for her eh...'acting'...but for the character itself to be cut out of the plot, after being there from the beginning as a pretty vital character in order to create an interesting storyline. I'm wary on how they can end her character's story without it seem to awkward or detached when the third movie comes into play."
Again, thank you to over the 1,000 people who participated! We'll have another Sound-Off for you soon, so stay tuned!
